Happy Halloween

Thursday was a busy day of Halloween parades, dress-up, and parties. It wore my little guy out!

Really hard to tell, but he is Indiana Jones, the 3rd grade does this annoying thing, where they are supposed to be a character from a book, and then redraw the cover of the book they are from. So he is covered by his picture, but he was cute anyway!

This was one of those proud mommy moments, I don't think anyone knows how BIG this was that he was walking!! He has such a hard time with transistions, and when he doesn't know where he is going he just sits down. So before, he would have to ride in a wagon or something, but they are working so hard with him to be comfortable moving from one thing to the next. Nancy, the lady in front of him, is AWESOME! She is the aide that works with him and she is so patient and loving with him, I couldn't have asked for anything more. You can maybe hear me say to her that he was walking, and she says that he is doing wonderful. We truly have been blessed by those that have worked with him at this school.

Mozart

I was at my friends house for book club and had brought Caleb with me. He was in the other room, and we started to hear plinking on her piano. It was Caleb, and I was surprised at how soft he was pushing the keys and not banging. When we went to my parents for dinner, I showed him their piano so he would play again, and we could get it on video. He is my little future Mozart in training. Music is in his soul, all I can say is there must be beautiful music in heaven, because it draws him in like no other medium!

Tyler showed me this video that he had done singing Happy Birthday to him, it brought a tear to my eye. Caleb could care less that it is his birthday, but it made me happy to see Tyler do something for him, since we weren't home to do so

Newport Beach

The one thing Tyler wanted us to do is go to a beach. The last time we were in CA the boys were 3 almost 4 and Holden didn't remember it. So before we headed to the airport we went to Newport Beach. It was fun, we will have to go the beach longer next time.

Birthday Surprise!

My twins turned nine on Oct. 10th! I can't believe it! We had wanted to take the boys to Disneyland for their birthday, but Caleb really struggles with transitioning from one thing to the next. You don't realize how many times you go from one thing to another until you are with Caleb. So we made the tough decision to leave Caleb at home in his comfort zone, with Tyler. I picked Holden up from school early and surprised him with a trip to Disneyland. So me, my mom, Finley and Holden headed to CA for a few days in the sun. It was a lot of fun and a birthday I hope Holden won't soon forget!
