We All Survived!!!

We all made it back safe and sound from Lotoja. It was a very tiring but fun weekend. The guys had a start time of 6:36 a.m. so we had to get up at 4:30 to be ready to go and pack up the car and get on the road to meet them at the first feed zone. At the second feed zone, Tyler was once again alone, the same time as last year. But this year he only stayed about 10 minutes ahead of them, so it made it easier to keep track on him. They all did well, but at one point of the course there was a really strong headwind which really wore them out. They all came in individually, but still pretty close. Seth wore out at one point, but got a second wind and made it across the finish line on his bike this time, instead of carrying his broken bike like last year. So we were all excited they made it through safe and sound with no bike mechanical problems for 206 miles, which is no small feat. They are already making plans for next year....

Wow, that does not look like one ounce of fun to me...but it's pretty cool. I am sure it is exhilirating to accomplish something like that. Congrats on a successful ride!

Great picture show! So glad the race is over. Very stressful day for me at home thinking about it. Congratulations to Tyler and four-some.
