I love him! I fell in love with him right at his audition before "Murray, UT" popped up on the screen. He was so cute at the end last night when he was like "ah" and such to the crowd. He's not like Melinda Doolittle who was like, "Really? I'm good?" I love how David knows he's good but still so dang cute about it!

Mandy, Thank you for sharing your beautiful story with me. I cried reading the whole thing. I was so thankful for your comment. I find such strength in the stories of other parents going through similar situations. Thank you for sharing about Chicken soup for the soul. I have been in search for an uplifting book like that. Our Katie has hydrocephalus as well. She was shunted around 18 months old (i was 7 months pregnant with my second)that was one of the hardest times and the recovery was rough. I truly can not imagine 22 surgeries. Your poor heart. My heart feels like it is going to rip out every time I have to say good-bye and hand her over to the doctor or nurse.
I agree that it takes a HUGE leap of faith to even think about adding more children to the family. I try to hold onto the fact that the Lord knows what we can handle.
I saw your past blog about the Utah conference that you went to. It sounded wonderful. I did not know that Rachel (from signing time) had a daughter with Spina Bifida. I would love to learn more about her little Lucy. Was the conference you went to for all types of disabilities? I would love to go to something like that.
Also, I must say that I adored your Valentine's day post. That class picture melted my heart.
Thanks again for the comment.
